Stage Impacts
35.0Flood waters impact the Old U.S. Highway 71 bridge, north of Nevada. In addition, flood waters begin to impact the south bound lane of U.S Highway 71, near the junction of the Douglas Branch and Marmaton River. In addition, flood waters begin to impact the residence basement near the gage site.
33.0Flood waters reach the backyard wooden deck at the southeast residence, at the gage site. In addition, flood waters reach three to four feet in depth of the residences barn and store area. Flood waters reach approximately 100 yard east of the gage site on Minnie Ball Road. In addition, flood waters are within two feet of flowing over the south bound lane of U.S Highway 71, north of Nevada, at the junction of the Douglas Branch and Marmaton River.
32.0Flood waters impact portions of Highway 54, between Deerfield and Nevada where the Dry Wood Creek, Little Dry Wood Creek and the Marmaton River join west of Nevada.
31.0Major flooding occurs at the gage site. In addition, flood waters back up along the White Creek which affects Logan Road, north of downtown Nevada.
28.0Flood waters impact Highway 54, along Route H and Route T west and north of Deerfield, or west of Nevada.
26.0Moderate flooding occurs near the gage site, west of Nevada.
24.0Flood waters cause the county road, west of the gage site, to become impassable.
22.0Flood waters impact the county road, west of Nevada, at the gage site.
20.0Minor flooding occurs near the gage site and mainly affects low lying areas along the river.
