Stage Impacts
48.0The flood wall in Dayton is topped...causing serious flooding in the city. Major flooding also occurs...especially in low areas along the river south of the city. Backwater flooding occurs from Moraine to West Carrollton down to Miamisburg.
47.0Water becomes an immediate threat to downtown Dayton and areas near the river. Low lying areas in communities south of Dayton along tributaries of the Great Miami River experience flooding....especially from Moraine to near Miamisburg.
45.0Many areas surrounding Dayton along the Great Miami River become flooded. The City of Dayton itself is protected by flood walls to a river level of 48 feet...but many areas especially south of the city experience flooding. Flooding worsens from Moraine to Miamisburg along the river....with moderate flooding in these locations.
41.0Flooding can be expected in Island Park at East Helena Street. Minor to moderate flooding also occurs along the river from Moraine to West Carrollton to Miamisburg. The City of Dayton itself is protected by flood walls to a level of 48 feet.
34.0Island Metro Park becomes inundated...as well as Helena Street. The city of Dayton is protected by a flood wall up to 48 feet.
33.0Island Metro Park and Helena Street experiences some flooding...as well as portions of Rip Rap Road near Huber Heights. The city of Dayton is protected by a flood wall to a stage of 48 feet.
30.0Flooding occurs near Rip Rap Road between Bridgewater and Little York Roads near Huber Heights. The city of Dayton is protected up to 48 feet by the flood wall.
