24.0Serious flooding continues. Bridge at West Girard Avenue floods. State Highway 27 begins to get flooded.
23.0Major flooding expands. Georgia Avenue Bridge floods.
22.0Extensive flooding continues. Water will enter the Early Childhood Center and Parks Elementary School.
21.0Extensive flooding occurs. More than 100 homes will be flooded. Five feet of water will stand in the Diamond Shamrock...the Goodyear Plant...and Cedartown Industires.
20.0Major flooding expands. Numerous homes flooded. Water will enter Grey Field Apartments on West Avenue.
19.0Major flooding continues. Water treatment plant near West Girard Avenue floods. GEO Speciality Chemicals Plant floods near West Girard Avenue.
18.0Major flooding begins. Creek will top city levee.
17.0Moderate flooding continues. Homes will flood in Goodyear Village which is located on left bank...down stream at West Avenue along Second St. Flooding of basements on Spruce and Walnut Streets behind diamond Shamrock and Goodyear plants also will occur. Water also covers Georgia Avenue.
16.0Moderate flooding begins. Canal Street Bridge floods. Flooding of some homes...including a mobile home park begins on west side of Georgia Avenue.
15.0Flood Stage is reached. Minor flooding begins. Water enters yards upstream from Canal Street Bridge and along Tanyard Branch. Several homes begin to flood just west of Georgia Avenue on Old Esom Hill Loop.
13.0Water enters parking lot near creek of mobile home park near Helen Street.
10.0Bankfull is reached.
